Our Process
Client input and approval are integral to our website design process. Projects are structured in stages, allowing you to preview and approve what has been done before beginning each new phase. Here is our process:

Preliminaries
In our first meeting, we'll discuss your needs, identifying any early action items such as domain registrations or email addresses needed immediately. Then we'll ask key questions such as, "Who is your audience?", "What do you want your site to deliver and/or collect?", and "How should your website look and feel?" Reviewing our portfolio often helps identify desired site features.
Planning
We’ll produce an outline that represents your site's pages, functionalities, and structure. The approved outline is the basis of your proposal, which provides full details of your project with fixed pricing. Adjustments are easily made. Once our agreement is signed and first payment is received, we’re ready to begin! Your job will be to create or gather content for the site.
Design
We typically talk more at this point to define the desired appearance and sensibility of your site. Color schemes, graphical elements, navigation, and more are discussed. We may do other design work for you at this time. We create trial designs of the homepage online and, with your approval, move forward until we have a design you love. At this time, we’ll send the second invoice noted in our agreement.
Production
With your approval of the design, we’re ready to begin populating your site with live content. We’ll send the second invoice at this time. You’ll supply us with content, or we’ll produce copy and images, if that is included in the project. The online preview site will allow you to observe production progress. Once complete, the final website may be reviewed exactly as it will appear when live prior to approval.
Launch!
Launch! - After successfully passing through all the previous stages of our process, your website is ready for launch - We'll give you enough notice to order champagne. Our launch checklist covers every aspect of taking your site live. Pre-launch review ensures everything works properly. Post-launch, we’ll optimize the site, enhancing performance and alerting search engines your site is live.
